Rickenbacker 4001 • 1977 • Jetglo • Period Hardshell Case
1977 Rickenbacker 4001 made in the USA in Jetglo finish, showing substantial and authentic cosmetic wear consistent with its age.
This bass retains its original components except for the truss-rod nuts, which were replaced with stainless-steel units. It has received a complete refret and full setup at Montréal Guitar. A Montréal Guitar-designed Rickenbacker Rod Saver was also installed in the truss-rod access cavity. This C-shaped unit corrects and supports bent truss-rod nuts; the installation is reversible and involves no permanent modification to the instrument. The selector switch tip is missing.
The instrument includes a period black square import-style hardshell case that appears to be original to the instrument.
Professionally inspected, evaluated and fully set up by Montréal Guitar.
