Josino Saraiva Cast Custom Guitars Archtop – Brazil
A rare archtop guitar, handcrafted by master luthier Josino Saraiva, founder of Cast Custom Guitars. Known for his custom-built, high-performance instruments, he meticulously handcrafts every detail to ensure the highest level of tonal excellence.
This unique piece, possibly built in 2004, comes from the private collection of Jerry Vasquez, former CEO and passionate collector of Fender and Gibson guitars. After discovering the exceptional craftsmanship and sound quality of Josino Saraiva’s guitars, he commissioned over twenty custom-built CAST guitars, replacing his American-made instruments. Now residing in Quebec, Vasquez has decided to sell part of his collection, making this stunning piece available to discerning players and collectors.
Its fully hollow rosewood body, measuring 14 inches wide and 2.5 inches thick, is hand-carved from a single solid piece of wood, with no glued braces—the internal bracing is integrated into the wood itself, creating unmatched resonance and sustain.
