Höfner 4550/S Archtop Sunburst – late 1950s

This 4550/S model features a traditional fully hollow construction with a carved maple top, offering a lively and articulate response. The instrument shows attractive natural aging with period-correct lacquer checking. It was refretted in the past with tall frets, providing excellent playability potential once a final fret dress and setup are completed.
