Gibson Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway Cherry 1959
Beautiful 1959 Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway in its original Cherry finish, now naturally faded. A carefully restored vintage instrument that preserves structural integrity while retaining its character.
This guitar had old modifications (neck pickup routing and enlarged control cavity), which were fully restored by Montréal Guitar using stained mahogany grafts precisely fitted under the pickguard and inside the electronics cavity to return it to the original narrow format. The rear cavity was partially filled (intentionally not flush) and covered with a handmade oversized back plate.
No structural cracks. No headstock crack and no heel crack.
The back of the headstock shows light vintage overspray, sanded, polished and aged to blend naturally.
