1952 Gibson ES-175 Blonde


Built during the earliest years of ES-175 production, this 1952 Gibson ES-175 Blonde is one of the most desirable versions of the model. Produced in far smaller numbers than the Sunburst finish, it features its original single P-90 pickup and an exceptionally light weight of only 5.4 lbs.


This guitar has undergone a complete structural restoration by Montréal Guitar. A previous headstock repair was professionally redone from the ground up, including a proper structural reglue, a new nitrocellulose neck finish with a vintage-correct stinger carefully aged to match the guitar’s natural patina, and a complete professional refret.


Aside from the documented restoration work, the guitar retains its original finish, original Gibson P-90 pickup, original electronics, original compensated rosewood bridge and original period Gibson tailpiece.
