Fender Telecaster Thinline Sunburst 1978
USA-made Fender Telecaster Thinline from 1978 in its original Sunburst finish. The body is dated April 15, 1978 (body stamp 4-15). Semi-hollow Thinline construction with a maple neck featuring a 3-bolt Micro-Tilt system, comfortable C-shaped profile, and vintage-correct 7.25" radius.
The guitar has been professionally refretted and fully set up by Montréal Guitar. Aside from the refret and setup, the instrument remains 100% original. All electronics are original, including the pickups and untouched solder joints. One original potentiometer is dated January 1979, which is fully consistent with Fender’s late-1970s production practices. No modifications.
Overall condition is very clean for its age. Visible marks remain on the back of the instrument in the form of cable imprints in the original finish. These are purely cosmetic, stable, and do not affect the structure or playability of the guitar.
A solid, stable, and very resonant vintage Thinline.
