Fender Telecaster from 1977 with its original black nitro finish, a true CBS-era classic. This guitar retains all original specifications and shows authentic vintage playwear.
The one-piece maple neck, with truss rod adjustment at the heel and a 4-bolt neck plate, has a comfortable C-shape profile. The original low, wide frets remain playable. Pickups are period-correct: a grey-bottom bridge pickup with baseplate and ink stamp, and a black flatwork neck pickup with chrome cover, both wound with Plain Enamel wire. Electronics remain untouched, with CTS 250k pots dated 1976, a CRL 3-way switch, and ceramic disk capacitor — factory solder intact.
This Telecaster shows real character: localized wear under the bridge plate (typical of thumb-picking with finger rest), aging cracks and light scratches, and slight chrome oxidation. Includes the original Fender hard shell case (OHSC – Original Hard Shell Case), black tolex with orange plush interior.
