Fender Jazzmaster Sunburst – 1960
It’s extremely rare to find a 1960 Fender Jazzmaster this well preserved and original. The electronics are 100% untouched, with all solder joints intact, no wires moved, and even the original factory tape still holding the leads in place. A true time capsule — completely unmolested under the hood.
The guitar has just received a professional refret at Montréal Guitar, offering perfect playability while maintaining its full vintage integrity. The Sunburst finish displays beautiful natural checking, with some light wear including buckle rash on the back. Aside from the nut, one “A” Kluson tuner, and the frets, everything else is original — the body, pickups, hardware, neck and electronics.
A standout Jazzmaster — not for its rarity as a model, but for the remarkable originality and condition it retains after more than 60 years.
