2026 Feathercaster Bass Sunset Relic
Designed and handcrafted by Montreal Guitar, the Feathercaster Bass Sunset Relic revisits the 1951 Precision Bass concept with a semi-hollow construction that delivers greater acoustic volume, enhanced harmonic richness, and increased resonance while preserving the attack, definition, and punch that made the original design legendary.
The one-piece semi-hollow ash body delivers outstanding resonance while maintaining a lightweight feel at only 7.6 lbs. A maple top is finished in a beautiful Sunset Relic finish and complemented by a unique laminated single-ply white pickguard with no visible mounting screws.
The maple neck features a comfortable Fat C profile paired with a rosewood fingerboard and vintage-correct 7.25” radius. Truss rod adjustments can be made directly at the heel without removing the neck.
A hand-wound Montreal Guitar Thunderbird pickup provides a wide range of tones, while a flush-mounted Push-Push switch positioned between the volume and tone controls allows instant switching between humbucking and single-coil operation.
