1928 Martin 0-17
Built in 1928, this Martin 0-17 is a genuine pre-war instrument, delivering the warmth, responsiveness and dry, woody tone that have made all-mahogany Martins from this era so highly sought after. Weighing only 3.4 lbs, it is exceptionally light, lively and inspiring to play.
The guitar was purchased directly from Matt Umanov in New York by its current owner in 1971 and has remained in the same collection for over fifty years. Internationally respected, Matt Umanov’s shop became one of the world’s premier destinations for vintage American guitars.
